I decided to buy this after struggling to install ductwork by myself. Everything works as I expected and I am very satisfied with the purchase. It beats installing hanger straps and having to adjust them multiple times after connecting joints. For round pipe, a strap or a cradle works to keep it from rolling off.
Worked well for the price, but would not recommend it for 4x142 sheets of drywall. It stressed the cable and Pullies
The customer service on this product was excellent. They were prompt in replying and went above and beyond to make things right when I had an issue with part of the lift.

Firstly, it works and is very well constructed for its purpose - not a iPhone in exacting fit, but exactly what is needed for this sort of tool.This is simple (heavy ish) to assemble, in all but one point. The cable that does the work has not clear way to securely hold in place. We ended up feeding through the hole as pics show, but then made a sort of too and fro between the spokes of the hand wheel, then clamped it there. Not exactly great.Last, if youre reading this far, you need or want one. Buy it, and be prepared to work with the minor short coming of cable securing (good small C clamp).

Ive installed drywall before. Two ladders, lift on 3, a little to the left, right, higher, lower. Such a daunting task. This time I did it with this lift, and WOW. A complete game changer. You will need an extra hand to lift the drywall into the lift, unless you can do it alone. This made it so easy, you can wheel it into place, it tilts and adjusts with springs to make a tight fit. Just screw the drywall in and release the lift back down. No more frustrating, time consuming, painful drywall install after this.
My husband and I were needing to put the ceiling in the new mancave, but the ceilings were 14' and my husband had just recently had shoulder surgery. I bought this because it would go to 16'. We were skeptical at first, but it was well worth the money. We did the whole ceiling in less than a day, just the two of us. We have also used it to install false beams at an angle on the ceiling without any problems at all. We will never get rid of this and we would buy another if needed.
My contractors borrowed this from me after they were done using it. That should tell you something. This is useful and performs as described!
I ordered this to put some metal ceiling up in my barn. I have a 16' ceiling in my barn. I tried to rent one but couldn't find a 16'. So i ordered this and it did just fine. This is the only drywall lift I have ever used. I don't know if this would last if you used it everyday but for me it was a great solution.
