Mostly good.

Worked well but the filtration bag is too small for it.

Nice press, great customer service

I had a problem with one of the parts and emailed the company. I got a response within hours, and once I described the issue, they sent new parts the next day. Their customer service was great, and very easy to work with. The press works well - as expected.

Very nice, compact, easy to store.

We had a couple buckets of concord grapes to press, and our regular press is large and difficult to use for small amounts. This did the trick. It was easy to assemble and fits nicely in a row along with similar sized 24-liter carboys. It cleans up beautifully. We did have to add several pieces of maple wood to reach the bottom. We were pleasantly surprised to see the white net insert. This helps a lot to keep the grapes from escaping at the sides and bottom. It was easy to rinse out and did not get stained.

Works fine but needs a bit more.

The press works great. Too bad they cheaped out and did not include enough blocks. No big deal to make, but you will need to cut additional blocks to squeeze all the juice out, especially if you are doing a partial batch. You will also need to build a base for it big enough to stand on to prevent the press from turning as you apply pressure.

Works great for small batches of juice!

This fruit press is exactly what I was looking for in order to press small batches of juice. I have two apple trees and a small pear tree...as well as neighbors around the area with apple, cherry, and pear trees. The press holds over a gallon of fruit, but you have to shred/grind up apples before you press or else it does a whole lot of nothing. The first pass I just diced the apples into 1/2 inch chunks, and barely any juice came out until I took the apples back out and ground them up in a food processor before pressing.

I found the best way to prep the apples is to cut them in half or quarters and run them through the course grating disc of a food processor, which produces nice thin shredded apples. I fill up a huge tub of those, and then dump it into the press until it is full. You can then press this down to about 1/3 of the size as juice comes out.

I have done almost two 5gal buckets full of apples, and I am getting around 1.5 gallons of juice per bucket of apples. I could probably squeeze more out if I kept turning, and waiting a few min, then turn some more...but I don't have enough time or patience for more than a few rounds of that. I have around 30 gallons of blemished apples from my trees this year to shred and juice, but now that I have a decent press and figured out how to prep the apples quickly I may actually grab all the unwanted apples from the neighbors trees next year too!

Anyway, if you have the patience to grind or shred up buckets full of apples I would recommend this as a decent low-cost beginner press. If you have more than like a 55-gal drum of apples then I would go with a bigger size press and a real fruit grinder to save your time and sanity.

Great little wine press!

This was my first year making wine and this little press worked great. The size is good and it made the process easy. The only thing I didn’t like was the assembly. Just a ton of screws to make the barrel. Not hard if you have a driver like I do, just a little time consuming. Easy though. I would recommend running a drill through the already existing holes. I had a couple almost split on me. Or just soak the boards in water first. It was worth the money.

Good purchase

Really nice press and fun to use. Perfect for someone who has only one fruit tree and wants to use some excess fruit. Too small if you have a lot of fruit to process.

Well worth it

Was worth the money. Easy to assemble and use. Clean-up was quick also. Would strongly say try it. Get the grandkids involved.. You'll have to make more. Easy apple juice. Be ready for the juice to disappear.

fantastic product

The 7.9 gallon fruit wine press is a powerhouse! I’ve used it for larger batches, and it performs exceptionally well. The construction feels very sturdy, and it easily handles heavy loads of fruit. The extraction process is quick and efficient, producing high-quality juice consistently. This press is perfect for anyone looking to step up their winemaking game—truly a fantastic product!
