I bought this for a trip I'm taking next month. Currently testing it, and it's doing really well. Took around 2 hours tops to get it to temp on high, then I switched to eco mode, and plugged it into my power center. So far it's been within 4 degrees, which is pretty good, and it hasn't pulled the power center down at all running overnight. I think it'll do well, and seems roomy for 1 person use.

This is a good size car refrigerator. It's not too heavy when empty and I put 2 cases of sodas(24 cans) comfortably in it with some room to spare. It does begin to chill really quickly and will get things nice and cold or even frozen depending on the settings you use. When not on a trip I actually keep it plugged in on the side of the couch and use it for a mini fridge for easy access to snacks and beverages.
