I added these to set i already had and this blended right in. The only thing I disliked was separating the pans. Although a tool was provided to help separate the pans, I had the most difficult time. Product is great though.

Nice product my only problem is the stands do not have the bottom plate. This makes stability unreliable and unsafe.

this is a really nice set. Looks really fancy. Does not look or feel cheap and flimsy at all. I would purchase again and would recommend.

If it wasn't for how hard it was to put together I would have given it a 5 stars. But after the struggle and after getting it together they were pretty and sturdy.

I recently had the pleasure of using the chafing dish for a family gathering, and I can confidently say it was a game-changer! From the moment I set it up, I was impressed by its sleek design and the quality of the stainless steel construction. It not only looked elegant on the buffet table but also held up beautifully throughout the event.The setup was straightforward, and using Sterno fuel for heating was a breeze. I loved that the lid could be propped open, allowing guests to serve themselves easily while keeping the food warm.

Putting it together was not easy

2024-12-03. Chafing dishes by GarveeHome. Water pans. Fuel holders. 8-quart. 2-pack. Stainless steel.Ordered these for a small gathering and I regret not taking them out sooner to test them. These chafing dishes come in non-retail packaging (so not good for gift giving) but are packed well. Taking them out of the box they looked perfect! Separating them was a different story... The larger (water pans) were stuck together and it was very difficult to separate them. There was an orange plastic piece, which I'm assuming was a tool to separate them, but it wasn't really effective. Four of us tried to each take a side and lift, but we were too uncoordinated to apply the same amount of pressure at the same time. Not wanting to damage these, I refused to use brute force to separate them. Instead I turned to science!Recalling that stainless steel will shrink in cold and expand with heat, we assembled the frame to the legs. This became my second problem. The method of attachment is a simple nut and bolt. Either the bolt thread was too large, or the nut thread was too small, but in either case, I had a really difficult time aligning the two. By fluke I happened to have some nuts that fit the bolts! After getting the frame assembled, I set up the four gel fuel cans in the fuel trough. This was plan b...I filled the tray with ice ensuring the side walls were completely covered. After about 90 seconds I tried separating them from the two shorter ends while two other people held the bottom piece down along the longer edges. After a little wiggling and the help of that orange tool, we actually managed to separate it! Total time to separate the two pans? 4 people, and 18 minutes!A customer should never be put through this type of ordeal for chafing dishes...from a performance perspective, they did do the job. There was some discoloration where the flames hit the water pan (both on the bottom and on the inside), but with the inner pans in place no one will ever see them.This set does NOT come with a storage bag or box of any sort and with how tight the packaging was with the shipping box, I didn't want to risk putting them together and go through that entire separation experience again. I've placed a piece of cardboard in between the two water pans so that they never sit completely closed in one another and I've got it stored in a clear garbage bag until I can find a proper storage bin for it.Overall, the entire experience was not a pleasant one. I will need to find a storage box, hopefully in the correct dimensions, and spend some more $$$ on that. But once set up, these chafing dishes are functional and effective. There are some nice features to it too; the lids have handles, the handles are heat resistant, the lids can sit behind the dish, the fuel tray runs the entire length of the chafing dish providing the legs with stability, and the entire set is made of stainless stee (18/0) making the food pans dishwasher safe!Unpleasant experience aside (because I'll never allow this terrible experience repeat itself), I'd give these chafing dishes 4 stars based purely on function and efficacy (-1 for no storage bag/container and poor QC with the nut/bolt combination.)
