I got this ice maker because I love to chomp on ice. This ice makes makes bullet type ice which is easy to crunch. It makes about 6 cups worth of ice provided you fill up the water bin. This is convenient and softer than the ice that comes from the freezer. If you like to eat ice, I would recommend this machine as the ice comes in two sizes (small and large), but the large really isn't much bigger.

We've had issues with previous, (other brand) machines being very difficult to clean. I'll update in a few months but this looks like all the critical components are easily accessible and removable.Couldn't get it to make smaller ice like our older machine but that's ok.Started dropping ice in the first cycle, easy setup.

So far is working really good no problems the only thing uses lots of water but I knew before i was ordering so if you are concern about water think twice before order this machine I'm happy. Good buy for me
