Reviews
I got this air fryer because I love this style where it's shaped like a mini oven. You can fit so much more food in this style, and this one is huge! I've been using it for quick snacks and meals for a little while now, and I'm super happy with it! It's simple enough to start using right away, without a huge learning curve - but it also has more detailed features that you can dig into as you use it. I also love that it has the rotating function with the fry basket and kebab attachments. It's so versatile! I'm hoping this one lasts me a long time, because it's one of those kitchen tools that I actually use regularly.
This air fryer is big enough for cooking and it came with all the tools needed. They are well built and the type of food you intend to cook is displayed on the unit. Simply follow the instructions and you can start. We tried air frying pompano (fish) and it came out really good. One thing i also like is the bottom has suction cups that secures the unit from moving. There will be a continuation of this review since i intend to make updates on how it works with different dishes. So far, we are happy with it.
Foremost, the design and shade of the Acekool Airfryer complemented and matched the color of my existing kitchen counter appliances. Secondly, this was my first experience with cooking in any type of air fryer. I started by cooking a pre-seasoned boneless chicken strip, and set the timer as recommended by the chicken icon display located on the surface of the air fryer. The time to thoroughly cook the chicken was considerably less than that of a conventional oven, and the chicken was crisp, tender and moist when consumed. Moreover, no pre-heating of the air fryer was required and I did not experience the increased heat in the kitchen that is associated with cooking in a conventional oven. Thirdly, I will be able to reheat pizza and other left-over food items in this air fryer without losing the consistency and crispiness of the food; definitely more preferable than microwaved left-overs (sogging pizza and fried food). The more I use this air fryer, I can already envision a reduction in the amount of time needed to cook and the potential savings on my electricity bills. Fourthly, there was no mess to clean up; simply wash the basket the chicken was place in; and lastly, no assembly required.A readable font size Acekool Instructional Manual contained a review of the functions of this air fryer, a few recipes and suggested temperature settings to acquaint one with using this oven. Also, as I was in the market for an air fryer already, none of the competing brands I viewed offered the number of bonus accessories that were included in this package. I, therefore, would absolutely recommend the Acekool Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo. The air fryer was packaged well and delivery was as expected.
I was looking for an air fryer oven to replace the one I already had. I wanted something larger than my current 10 quart model but didn’t want it to take up a lot more counter space. After a bit of searching, I decided on this air fryer oven by Acekool.I made my decision for a number of reasons. Firstly, the capacity of this oven is 19 quarts…almost twice bigger than than one it was replacing. I found that it was difficult to roast anything larger than a 4 pound chicken in my old oven. This one gave me the capacity to do a lot more.Secondly, even though the capacity of this oven is greater, the footprint really isn’t. I have limited counter space, so every inch counts. The base in the Acekool measures a little more than 17”x17”. The base on my old 10 quart oven was 17” x15”. For twice the capacity, two inches of counter space is not a lot to sacrifice.Third, I like the fact that the ‘touchscreen’ on this oven is just that…a touchscreen. So many of the ovens I saw give you the impression that they have a touchscreen, but only a couple of the buttons on the panel are actually touch. The rest are just lights. And finally, I liked the accessories included with this oven. The high side basket was something I didn’t have with my old oven. The rotating basket I did have before, and it an accessory that is a must for me with an air fryer oven. There is nothing that makes better French fries than the rotating basket. The controls on the Acekool air fryer oven are very easy to figure out without even looking at the manual. Programming the oven really just entails turning it on…selecting a program….adjusting the time and temperature if needed….and pressing the power button again to get the cooking started. Easy and intuitive.I decided to try out my new oven and prepare a couple of fish fillets. The recipe calked for cooking them at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. The oven. Will only go to 400, so that’s what I selected. The time I halved to 10 minutes which I usually do for any recipe when I’m using the air fryer. I put the fish on the air fryer rack…put it in the oven…closed the door…and let it cook. After 10 minutes, I checked on my food. It was perfectly cooked. It was brown and crispy on the outside and moist and flaky on the inside…just how I liked it. The Acekool oven did an awesome job.The only complaint that I have about this oven is the fact it does not come with a standard oven rack/pizza rack. There’s no real rack included to put a casserole dish on. And there is even a ‘pizza’ setting but no rack. That doesn’t make much sense. But all in all, I’ve very satisfied with my Acekool air fryer oven. It has the capacity I want….doesn’t take up a lot of counter space….and cooks very well. I think it’s a keeper.
Has suction cup feet that holds appliance position on countertop (very nice given that I live in an earthquake-susceptible area of the U.S.)! Unit is manufactured in China, but 15-page Instruction Manual and (short but helpful) Recipe book included are in excellent English. Unlike a lot of Chinese manufacturers, this group seems to have done their homework in making sure their product is safe and ready for the U.S. market. Internet website and EMAIL contact info is provided in the manual (you may also download a pdf version of the user manual from the AceKool website).LED front display with presets that determine time and temperature variables. Sellers’s advertising materials clearly present the functional options and included accessories as well as appliance dimensions and weight. Even though the unit interior dimensions are provided in ad text, it seems to me that the advertising cooking video makes it appear that you can cook a turkey-sized bird – instruction manual says 5- or 6-pound chicken size is maximum. Otherwise, ad photos are spot-on.I especially like the Dehydrator setting (default is 90 degrees F for 4 hr. – option to increase by 5 degree steps up to 170 degrees F max, with from 1-24 hours selectable in 30-minute steps). I also very much like that all accessories are provided, and find the rotating 7 1/2 in. wide – 5 1/2 in. diameter mesh basket to be a very nice additional cooking option. At 1800-watt max power draw, instruction manual suggests a dedicated electrical circuit for this appliance.Overall, I’m very satisfied with this appliance. I hope you find my data sticker photo, information and comments helpful in your consideration of this item.
I got this to be able to cook larger items for dinner without using grease, and so I am able to spend the small amount of time I have left in the afternoon with my family,The LCD screen responds promptlyThe accessories are unbelievable and there are so many. The cookbook has really been very helpful for me especially when it comes to learning the machine and how to cook certain meats and vegetables on the right time and temperature.Great Air FRYER AND very large for the price, very please with this in my home.
Sleek and convenient. I purchased to have something to bake with when our power goes out and also dehydrate items from garden and orchard - can run it with a generator. I’ve dried apples, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, mixed veggies for soups and marshmallows for the grands. Highly recommend this all in one.
Garvee has again ignored my problem. This unit has duel glass and in cleaning, if you spray on a cleaner, it may get thru the air vents and get into the duel glass where you can not clean. I have asked and asked for information to clean this area and all they want to do is have me return the unit. I don't need a new one, just a way to clean this one. I also suggest the door is hard to open, requiring two hands and the handle prevents it from opening as it hits the counter causing the unit to tilt. The manufacture should have this info so it can be considered for redesign. Can I contact the distributor or manufacturer? In all fairness, I got the darn thing cleaned. You have to remove the door (Film on internet) a dozen screws and take the door apart I will now suggest you be very careful in cleaning around the door and not use airesol or spray bottles. In this case the cleaner got into the vent holes in the door and messed up the glass.I want to thank Garvee for all their lack of help in this problem I finally solved myself. Lucky I had the tools and the balls to try it.
I’ve only had one other air fryer to compare too but right off I notice this one is bigger then my old one it was a 13 qt it’s not much of difference just 2-1/2 inches all around different but u get so many racks with this one that so far has been dishwasher safe I don’t recommend ever doing baked goods in a air fryer solely because u can’t beat an oven for that but if u need quick meals for a large family this thing is great I can’t live without one now I never use my oven ! Cleaning has been easy just wipe it out after use and it’s done, however I do wish the door came off like my old one to clean the glass better because eventually like a oven it will need to be done. I will keep an update on how long this one lasts because my kucoal only lasted 1 year and 2 months hope I get the same life or more from this one I’m told they can range from 6 months to 3 years of working use but ur savings is in the electric bill because it’s a 110 use and ur oven is a 220 .
Versatile air fryer but the rotisserie is really small. Only holds a 2-3# chicken. I’ve never seen a whole chicken that small. However, the air fryer is huge. Can hold 2-3 trays of food. The food came out great and the trays were easy to clean. You can cook chicken, fish, and bake in it. The fryer is large so make sure you have plenty of storage space.
