GARVEE 8000 BTU Smart Window AC, Quiet, Remote/App, Cools 350 Sq.ft

One of my biggest concerns with window air conditioners is the power consumption. However, these units have really solved that problem with their high efficiency and low energy consumption. We've had heat waves in the 80's and moderate to low 90's and each of my air conditioners only consumes about 25 kWh of electricity per month. This gives us great peace of mind when it comes to paying our electric bill. We don't have to worry about how long the AC is on because it doesn't use as much power as many other devices. I also really appreciate all the APP settings and the way I can monitor the usage of the unit.

I got a 8000btu air conditioner, my room is about 400 square feet and that air conditioner will freeze you to death, I turn it up to 72 degrees and the fan is so small I have to use blankets to keep me warm, the air conditioner makes a little bit of noise but it sounds like rain but it doesn't bother me at all because it makes me sleep better!

I read the pros and cons of all the reviews before buying this unit. However, its dimensions made it so I was forced to buy it it fit my garage window.The previous 8000 BTU unit never was able to cool the whole garage but this one does. The Adolla cooled it down with no problems.I don't dwell on the noise level since it is acceptable to me. If I need another small AC unit, I will buy another one like this if available at the time.

It was easy to install, and gave me everything I needed. The house is open concept, so it's very difficult to keep it cool around here. Thankfully, it's doing what it should. I'll know more over the next few days, but I'm thrilled so far. I just put it in yesterday, and its manual controls seem to work well, and auto appears to keep the environment stable,, at least so far. The real test will be this afternoon. It's not excessively noisy. I put a fan in front of it to carry the ac's ability to cool the environment further, and I'm sitting about 10ft from it and can still feel it. Time will tell as to longevity. Will update if any issues, but so far, HAPPY AND COOL! Oh, comes with a remote. ??Sadly, the unit stopped working properly within a couple of weeks. I cleaned out the filter, but that didn't fix it and like others have pointed out, you can hear a noise from the fan that was not there previously. I'm going to have to get another one and pray for the best. Too bad! No sense in returning it, as I'd pay even more to ship it back. Think I'll stick to getting ac's from a brick and mortar store.

The unit I bought, was 8,000 BTU,and although I wished I'd bought a more powerful unit,it does indeed cool a large area.I have had it on constantly this summer and our living space is very comfortable,thanks to this ACEKOOL A/C.I'd recommend it.Also,I had some concerns about the unit and the communication with the vendor was excellent.They are very willing to work with you and that means a whole lot.

These newer smaller A/C's while they cool nicely are not as powerful as the old school big clunkers.My old A/C lasted 25 years before it went out. It weighted 25 million pounds but would freeze you out of the room! Whatever the square footage says you need for these new smaller A/C's, I would recommend going up one size in BTU's.
