This may be a long review but I do find it worth it, especially with it being the first review.First and foremost, for two months I’ve been looking for a coffee table exactly like this one BUT within my price range AND with great reviews. Unfortunately, it seems I could have one but not both. But because my price range was MORE important than great reviews, I gave this product a shot in the dark. (Of course I had to look up reviews from other products made by this shop, which turned out to be great).As I opened the box, I was happy with the way everything was neatly packaged and numbered. This made it easy to assemble and took about 45 minutes to an hour by myself, and a toddler lol.I will say, the ONLY reason I am giving this table a 4/5 star rating is because there was a ding on one of the panels and a black scuff on the other. Truly, once assembled, you can’t tell.The hydraulics are nice, however I find the lids open and shut louder than I thought they would. Although they give you clear self-adhesive sound dampening rubber bumpers to place under the lid- they are thin. I do believe a thicker bumper would help ease the sound quite a bit.I’ll be honest, that’s just me being picky. Nothing more than a $5 purchase from Garvee would fix that issue if you really didn’t like it. (So that’s what I’ll do).Honestly this storage/ coffee table is everything I was looking for. Perfect size, perfect dark brown top, very sturdy, supper easy to assemble and a reasonable price!I would EASILY recommend this product if you were looking for one! Can’t wait to store our board games in here!
