GARVEE 5.8oz Premium Weed Barrier, 4ftx300ft Landscape & Garden Mat

I'm no expert but I thought the quality was there.

I'm using this as a base between dirt and compacted gravel, to keep the gravel from getting pushed into the dirt when wet. We easily rolled the material out to cover the desired area, overlapping each pass by one foot, then put in landscape staples to hold it in place. A huge 20-yard dump truck drove over it to deposit the gravel, with no damage to the cloth. Excellent product. I've also used it as a weed/grass barrier beneath my fruit trees, where it's been doing a great job for three years, with no rips or apparent degradation from the sun.

My first order was exactly as desired and expected. I purchased product to go under plastic grid in an RV garage and entrance driveway. I ordered another roll for pathways under gravel and the product was different. The second roll was noticeably less tightly woven, more prone to edge fraying. See photo. I kept the second roll because I had workers and schedules, but this experience was disappointing.

Great stuff, will last a long time. Heavy duty and easy to roll out. I cut with a torch and that prevents unraveling. Works well. I'd buy again
