Really nice product. I needed somewhere to put shoes and climbing / workout gear in my small space that had a solid shelf where small items weren’t always falling through (looking at you garage storage 5-tier metal racks). This looks great despite the items I intended it for. It’s quite sturdy. I’m hoping the manufacturer will post a per-shelf weight capacity however. The instructions were simple and easy to follow, but it does take some time to put together, as other reviewers have mentioned. Alone, it took me about 2 hours. ASSEMBLY PRO TIP: Don’t tighten everything down too hard in each step until you have all the pieces in. Then tighten just bwfoe snug so you have wiggle room to adjust the parts and make sure they’re flush before cranking in a star pattern, like you would a spare tire’s lug nuts. This ensures you don’t put too much torque on anyone side. The build is good. Sometimes these things, the holes for the screws won’t be lined up, but at least mine all went in smoothly. So far, super happy with this!

As others have said, you really need to pay attention to the pre-drilled holes and where they are in the images of the assembly instructions. I put something on backward so had to redo everything, but other than that it was very easy to assemble and I was able to complete it in less than an hour on my own. Beyond that, I think it looks nicer than the pics do and the entire unit is very sturdy once I adjusted the leveling on the feet.

I am pleased with how sturdy the baker’s rack is after assembly and it looks even better than photo. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the difficulty in putting it together. I had to assemble it by myself and without help it took almost three hours. The instructions do say it takes two people but not everyone has that option.

Pay close attention to instructions, because it's easy for the holes not to match up.
