Amazing, the picture is clear, just turn on and place the tube scope on desired area. This is extremely useful if you need to look inside hard to reach area. You can record with a micro sd card (not included) if needed. The goose neck is very flexible, easy to maneuver. The control makes it easy to aim the camera at different angle. Love it and great tool to have.
I have owned a couple of endoscopes but this is the first one I’ve owned that has an adjustable end. Wow what a difference. Instead of fiddling around trying to pre-bend the end and spinning the scope trying to see something you can just dial it in using a wheel on the grip. It makes getting into spaces without impacting the surrounding area significantly easier. The picture is good quality. It’s not in super high definition but it’s plenty good for my purposes. As you can see I’m the picture of the old electrical wire the light illuminates the space well. It comes with a relatively nice soft case with plenty of room for the tool and it’s difficult to ask for more. It works great, is easy to use and has a screen that’s large enough for those of us who are getting older.
I had a borescope for years that required it to be paired with my iPhone and used an app for control. It was never easy to handle both the scope and hold the iPhone to see what I was looking at. Then the app was no longer supported to it was time for a new one. I ordered this one specifically because it does not require a phone and is fully self-contained. I also thought the ability to "steer" the camera was a nice feature that I hadn't seen on others.I put it to use checking a space behind a dryer vent where I suspected mice might be entering my laundry room. It was a place that I wasn't physically able to fit to see if there was a hole, but thanks to the long cable on this scope and the ability to aim the camera from the controller, I was able to confirm there is indeed a hole that goes under the floor (see photo.) I also used it to inspect a cylinder on an engine I recently rebuild and was delighted with the level of detail and illumination. Again the ability to point the camera really helped since I didn't have to move the cable all around to get the camera where I wanted it.The controls are easy to use though there are some real minor things I think could be better in the software but none of these affect the operation. For example, it has the ability to date-stamp images but there is only one date format and it is year/month/day. Again, not a big deal but would be nice to be able to change to the format most in the US use. There is also a temperature read-out for the camera and the instructions state at a certain temp it will shut-down for protection. This is a nice feature bit the temperature is only in Celsius. There are several options for the size of the images and since this came with a 32gig memory card, I just kept it at the highest resolution and am happy with the results. I also shot some video and it worked just as well as the still images, recording in an AVI format. This is not an inexpensive product and maybe priced a bit on the high-side compared to others but it does work well and seems quite solidly constructed. It also comes with a nice protective hard case. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this scope and am sure I will find plenty of uses for it around the house and in the shop.
Super HD a must have for any mechanical use work super good nice and bright love all the features it has and integrated memory card for all the pictures and videos if you need to show the customers any problems. I think overall a good value for the money.
This was very simple to set up and begin using and it has very nice screen quality. This is on the lower end price tier of borescopes so we were pleasantly surprised and glad our son had a chance to experiment and learn his way around the equipment that also worked so well. It's an excellent value that gets the job done.
For our purposes (we use it for home inspections, and previewing the insides of walls and crawlspaces to identify potential issues before demolition begins on a renovation/restoration), this little device is a pleasure to use. The picture is very clear, and it's easy to employ the articulation. The controls are very user-friendly. I'd estimate that just about anyone should be able to operate this easily within a few minutes of practice.Recommended.
This articulating borescope comes with a micro-SD card plus a usb-c cord, so there is plenty of storage for videos and pictures with no phone or app needed. It is lightweight yet made of thick materials. It takes a little time to practice and get used to rotating the cord plus the image on the handheld display, so you can get the 360 degree view in all directions without adjusting the angle you’re holding the display (first instinct is to move the display in your hand sideways or whatever is needed, when the hand guiding the cord is actually what you need to move). A handy and well-organized case is included. My husband would prefer a solid or harder case, since it’s holding quality electrical equipment, but the included case is suitable for most environments, so this might be a personal preference. The image is clear and crisp when close, and it begins to blur a bit the further away the scope is from the object, just as the manual says; the close image is much clearer than he was able to achieve with a phone-compatible version he had purchased previously. For not being a professional type of borescope, this exceeds expectations.
