GARVEE 1250W Benchtop Wood Planer, Low Noise, for Wood Planing

I wasn't expecting much out of a planer jointer combo at this price but I ran some cedar planks through and it worked well. The jointer did well cutting through it even with knots on the lumber. For the price this will work great on simple projects joints up to 8 inch wide boards.

I've been using the power benchtop planer for a few months now, and I'm seriously impressed! The smooth operation and consistent results have made my projects a lot easier and more enjoyable. It handles different types of wood beautifully, and the finish is always flawless. This is one of the best investments I've made for my woodworking tools!

This product was made in China. When I got this, I was missing a part. I called Garvee and they said either I can return it or get refunded for the missing part. With it being heavy, I was not going to return it. The instructions aren't clear either. Not too happy with it as I haven't even used it yet. I’m sure the crank is important too.I ended up not using this and buying something smaller. But I’m sure it worked just fine. However, it was very heavy for me.

This benchtop planer has been a game changer in my workshop! Not only is it compact and easy to store, but it also delivers professional-quality results. I love how quiet it operates compared to other models I've used, and cleanup is a breeze with the built-in dust port.

I was able to get the infeed and outfeed tables aligned. The instructions have nothing on it, but I found YT videos that showed which nuts loosen them.I am still not able to get a proper 90° with the jointer due to the fence, which itself is not at all straight or square. The planer seems to work great though.I have found a better extruded aluminum fence, with a heavier bracket, available online that should fit. If this makes the jointer usable, I will return and update this review with 4 stars.Edit: After a couple of months of tinkering with it, and buying a different fence, I have finally got it working acceptably well. I'm getting boards parallel to within about two one hundredths of an inch.This is not a precision machine and no amount of adjustments will ever make into to one. But there are literally no other alternatives in this price range, this reason alone is why I have brought my rating up to 4 stars.The upgraded fence I bought was Grizzly part # P0958158

This is the first cordless planer I have owned but so far it seems very good. The planer worked as described and was simple to use. Replacement blades are easy to find and easy to change, and are reversible, so you get twice the life from them. Highly recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet this planer is compared to others I've used in the past. The low noise level is a significant advantage, allowing me to focus on my work without being overwhelmed by loud machinery sounds.

This is a great planer! I have only tested it on a couple pieces of scrap wood thus far but none of them showed any signs of snipe at the end of the boards.Still probably good to run sacrificial pieces through with it, but so far it looks great and no snipe.

The planer came packaged very well and is easy to assemble. You simply assemble the stand and mount the planer. the planer does a great job and is key to turn a dead maple tree into a variety of hobby woods,So far, it works great and does exactly what I needed it to do.
