Reviews
We are really happy with these running boards. We had them installed at a local garage and they said that all of the parts were included, the holes lined up perfectly and no modifications were required for our 2023 4 door Bronco. They are very sturdy, the step is just the right height and we appreciate that there is no logo or words on them, unlike most of the others that we looked at.
These steps look amazing when on. However, the instructions are terrible. Clearly they were written by someone who is not a native English speaker. If the instructions were clear, and the pictures were better, I probably could have installed these in under 15 minutes. They provide two different size bolts for these steps, but for some reason only specify M8 in the actual instructions. You need the M10s to apply the steps to the actual car, and the M8s to apply the brackets to the running board. Also, there’s “support brackets” that are not in the instructions and I had no idea where they were supposed to go until I was under the car putting the running boards on - I think they might connect where the open hole is in the image I attached. More M8s go there, because that’s what I had left over.I like that these mostly cover the pinch weld, but I did paint that beforehand myself (also see images). It gives it a cleaner look.
