At $29.99 it was a very good value, I could not even buy the parts to build a basic surge suppressor for what I paid for this one, there are only 12 total MOV's (the actual suppressors) in the unit with no data on them, I have to assume each one is good for 350 joules since it claims 4200 joules of protection. It is still a good value since you also get a circuit analyzer in a nice case. My RV plug would not fit into the plug all the way so I modified the lower case to accommodate the wide part of the plug, also the clear cover needs more room inside, it hits the plug and stands out from the unit leaving a gap on either side for possible rain intrusion, minus one star.At such a low price I cannot be to hard on it for not being perfect, it seem to do the job and is far better than nothing.

I give it 4 stars because I’m not sure how water proof it is. A different brand that I had before looked almost identical but quite working after it got rained on. Time will tell

So far so good! For the price you can't beat a 50 Amp surge protector. It has held up in high temperatures and it's great protection for you RV.

So far so good...I'm in a frequent changeover area when storms roll through so will get tested...better than replacing electronic equipment
