GARVEE Metric Ratcheting Wrench Set 6-19mm, Cr-V Steel with Bag

I am so impressed with this ratchet wrench set, and the build quality really surprised me! The roll up case is super heavy duty! This is a perfect set for my car, all of my bikes, and my snowblower. You will never have problems with these wrenches bending and they are virtually unbreakable. As far as value, these are an extremely great value! A comparable set at a hardware store would run you 3x as much. The chrome vanadium steel is super durable and should last a life time. They are very smooth and thicker than most comparable sets. You turn them over to reverse the ratchet direction. This complete metric set goes from 9mm-18mm. Each size wrench has been imprinted into the steel, which I like so I don't have to guess on the sizing. Each ratchet has 72 micro teeth so as not to give way when you're tightening. It has 180 degree flex head for the more difficult spots, and an HRC hardness rating of 47-50. One of my favorite things about them is that the heads are tapered for confined spots and really difficult work areas. The build quality on these are just wonderful. I just don't think that you are going to find anything near this quality for the asking price! I am so glad that I got this set and highly recommend it.

its a nice little set with a roll bag that isn't too bulky, grommets to hold on a peg board. Ratchet action has a satisfying click, and was adequate for the torque range you'd expect on this length. the little allen bolt that makes up the hinge did have a tendency of loosening up after use but i was wrenching them pretty hard. The hinge action is smooth, there are no detents at 15, 30, 45 degrees. This offers more versatility but if you are in automotive and use these to get at tight spots, the detents help keep the ratchet at the proper angle. Its very frustrating when the hinged head flops off the bolt. It's a nice-to-have but a layer of duct tape wrapped around the hinge area is a handy substitute too. I would compare these to the ICON series at harbor freight.

I've been needing a set of ratcheting wrenches for quite some time so super pleased to try these out. They are a little lighter weight than some I've used so I'd question how they will handle heavy workloads but for me they're just fine. I'm not a mechanic but I do like to tinker once a week or so. The case is really nice and it rolls up tight and secures with 2 clips. The case does have quality issues, for one the 8mm is pretty much sewed into the material somehow and will not come out :) I will have to extract it by cutting some of the material. The ends of the straps are tattered and frayed, no biggie, just cut and not finished properly. I can overlook the flaws here at this price point, I'm fine. Happy to have this set!

The header description says it is a 9mm-19mm set but it actually is a 8mm-19mm set....the picture does correctly show that an 8mm is in the set. It is an impressively nice set of wrenches, good fit, finish and polished, adequately strong handles, the flex end has the right stiffness to stay in place and not 'flop' around so that you can per-position the head at the desired angle then reach in hard to get places to engage the nut, smooth acting fine tooth gearing. Overall very nice wrenches.

This ratcheting wrench set is a solid addition to my toolkit. The flex head design makes it easy to get into awkward spots, and the ratcheting mechanism is smooth with a good amount of grip. The 72-tooth design allows for smaller turns, which is great for working in tight spaces. Thus set, with the storage bag, is very compact and easy to store. When opened, it has grommets so you can hang it on a tool board easily. The tools themselves work perfectly and exactly as you'd expect. Great deal.

The wrenches are very high quality with no rough edges or sharp bits to get caught on and the chrome finish is flawless.both open end and ratchet has a good fit over bolts with minimal play.Works very well in tight spots with its swivel head and fine 72tooth gearing I was able to slowly work loose a bolt that was other wise impossible to get to. I would say these feel on par with tool you'll find at HF, good value for the money tools for DIYers.
