Initially I was a little worried that the mats were misshaped because of how they came packaged. But I let them lay out flat for a day to relax and even, as the instructions suggest, bent them into shape a little. The mats fit perfectly. They don’t have any Velcro to hold them in place but the molded edges prevent them from moving around. I only wish I had a matching mat for the rear cargo area and rear seat backs.
I bought these Model Y floor mats as a gift for my cousin because cleaning the floor mats in his car is a real hassle. His original floor mats were plush, and while they looked good, they easily got dirty, especially on rainy days. The ones I bought are all-weather floor mats, and their high-edge design works well whether it's raining or snowing. My friend told me they have excellent slip resistance and are easy to clean – a quick hose down every two months keeps them in great shape.
Move over Weather Tech! These mats are a great quality and are great for the messy winter months. Installation was easy and now I don't have to worry about the carpet mats getting muddy and being hard to clean.
