We bought an above ground pool for our son this past summer and the pump that came with it just couldn't keep up. So my husband bought this one on Garvee and I'm do glad that he did. We were able to enjoy the pool for the remainder of the summer without having to empty it due to it getting do dirty. It's quiet, not a lot of noise, it kept the water maintained and helped keep the water circulating.I would recommend it

Set up was fairly easy, pump works great and our pool has been so clear ever since!

I installed this as a replacement for a filter I installed about 7 years ago. The directions seemed clear and were very similar to the ones I've installed in the past. HOWEVER, be careful the valve ports are labeled differently than the instructions. The pump port and the return(pool) port were swapped. It made the swap out more difficult, but it works good. The labels on the valve ports are almost hidden. There is no timer function to rate.

Great product, but wasn't clearly marked. Use the lines on the side to help with filling it with sand.

I wanted to improve the pool pump that came with my above-ground pool. I loved that it was a sand filter rather than an actual filter. It has enough power to fully filter out the pool and even create a lazy river effect. This is a must for anyone looking to upgrade the filter that comes with their above-ground pools.

So much better at cleaning our pool. We have an above ground pool and used the pump it came with for about two months. It didn’t circulate the water well and we were tired of the algae. After getting this we shock it once a week and it stays crystal clear.

Bought this for my coleman 16x10 pool. I'm sure it would have worked great, but I didn't even open it as my pool made it throughout the summer with no filter. Water crystal clear and chlorine levels remained good throughout. Maybe next year I will try a simple cartridge filter just to circulate the chlorine I put in there. I've just been mixing in the liquid chlorine by hand (swirling it around with a net)

Yes, The title says it all. But I did not use Sand in the barrel. I use other filter medias and it has kept my water crystal clear.
