I ordered this GARVEE Modern Print Rug Braided Look in the 6x9 Grey version... and I LIKE IT! Washable rugs are the best invention. Our household has a set of tween twins, a 120lb dog (pictured here), a 20lb dog, and two adults. Let's just say, things get dirty... Thanks to this rug, I don't have to worry about it anymore!This rug has some amazing things about it:•GREAT QUALITY•VERY SOFT•TRUE TO SIZE•NICE BRAIDED LOOK•DOESN'T SLIP AROUND•FEELS VERY DURABLE•COLORS ARE SHADES OF COOL GRAYAs you can see, my flooring (and basically the rest of my house) is a warmer gray than this rug. But, it doesn't bother me at all! This rug is an excellent value for the money because it is washable! I like to take rugs this size to the laundromat, for fear of ruining my own machines. GARVEE is a great brand-- comparable to one of the popular national name brands. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

This is exactly what I expected. A thin, long runner. The pattern is printed on. It looks nice and has worked well in my bathroom. It does move around a tad and I wish it was thicker for more comfort on my feet. I think a non slip pad underneath would work well.

I was searching for a runner rug to add to my bathroom, and this was so spot on.The rug is soft, and the design is adorableIt's not really textured; it's a print of the texture but I like it.

I was expecting this to be a woven rug with that scratchy, wooly feel to it. Not even close! I’m not sure if “printed” is the right word, but this is not woven at all. The pattern is actually colored on to the rug. It is extremely soft and about half as thick as it looks. We have had this down for over a week and it has not moved. It stays in place with a lot of traffic on it. All I can say was this was a very pleasant surprise! 5 stars!

If you want a rug that has the looks of a braided rug and the softness of a thin modern rug, that goes under opening doors and into washing machines, then this is the rug for you. If you want a braided rug that is thick and rough, then this isn’t for you. If you look at the picture and don’t read the text, you might end up with something you don’t want. But you can’t blame the maker for that. I got what I wanted and I am well pleased. I think the ratings have been reduced by people not reading what they were getting and just looking at the pictures, but that is not really the maker’s fault, and I shall not mark this down for being what it is. I love it; the rug has transformed an empty hall into a welcoming entry to a home.

I needed a longer runner for my kitchen walk through area - this one is 2X8. It has good earthy browns that are neutral and I could use it in other areas too if needed. The soft texture is great for your feet. It has a backing that helps keep it in place. Also, it is washable so it's good for high traffic areas. Definitely would recommend this rug!

When I ordered this rug I thought, at this price there must be something wrong with it. But there isn't. I wondered whether it would be some kind of braided rope fabric, but no, it is just like other modern thin rugs, really soft and welcoming. The look is just a printed pattern. So the only thing I have against it is waiting three weeks for it to arrive; but at this price, itis well worth the wait!

The description says braided printed, but to be clear, it's a flat rug with a print of a traditional braided rug. It's almost an optical illusion, there is so much visual depth to the print. Because it's not braided, it's thinner, but fine as is, and it won't accumulate dirt the way braided rugs do in the nooks and crannies. The non-slip backing is well done. Pictures show how it looks, including the backing. Very well done.

Even after reading the description, when I saw it, I thought this rug was an actual weaved rug.It arrived, and we pulled it out of the box and set it on a shelf. It was still wrapped in see-through plastic.It took me a few days to open the plastic, but all the while I could see it from my desk, and I kept thinking that what I was looking at was an actual weaved rug.Even after I unwrapped it and laid it out on the floor, I thought it was weaved.It was only after I went to roll it up to bring to my office that I realized it is actually printed.Quite convincing.

If you are looking for ease of care and a retro feel, this is a great rug for you! I got the Violet rug but as the picture shows, it is a range of pink to burgundy hues. It's super soft and certainly thinner and more manageable that a traditional braided rug. It fit easily into my washing machine so this was a great plus for me as that was one of the features I valued most!I got this for my daughter's bedroom which was absolutely perfect as ease of maintenance is a necessity, and it's pink of course! It would also be beautiful in a nursery where softness, aside from the ease in cleaning, is a priority.The only thing that surprised me slightly was the color variation in the braided-look. From a distance, it appears to be a range of Pink shades, but held closely, it's more to me as a combination of burgundy, pink and white which reads to me, in the room, differently than I expected. It's still beautiful of course and worked well in my daughter's room, but not quite what I expected so if you're eying this rug, please make sure that the burgundy tone in the rug will coordinate with your room!
