Reviews
Saved a ton of cabinet space in our very small kitchen!! Easy to assemble, easy to utilize, easy to clean and we get tons of compliments on how “cool” it looks! Love it!
Love this shelf. Great value for money but you will need some help mounting to wall if you aren’t experienced with drywall.
The plastic that they have protecting this shelf from scratches is enough to make you want to return the darn thing. It's so thin and so ridiculously stuck to the shelf that it only comes off in little pieces at a time and you'll spend what feels like an eternity (took no less than 30 minutes) trying to get it off. By the time I was finished I was quite irritated.Installation was fairly easy..I held it up to the wall, put a level on top and marked where the screws were going to go. I am using it above where I make soap, mainly to hold things I will be using. As such I'm always touching it with either colorant, oil or soap batter on my gloves as I grab things off of it and they all have the ability to seriously stain. The back splash protects my wall from any accidental damage and stains. This shelf is a dream to clean as everything just wipes right off. It has a much larger depth than most regular wall shelves so it can hold larger items (I've had multiple gallon jugs up there with no worry of falling) and it can hold a significant amount of weight.
The shelf is stunning, sturdy and shiny!!! However, the installation hardware (unless going into concrete block) DOES NOT WORK!! They pulled right out of the wall.
This is a very sturdy shelf and holds quite a lot. First thing out of the box I was confused because instead of being silver the shelf looked white. On closer inspection I realized it was covered in a protective coating that had to be peeled off.I have not put it up yet because I still cannot decide if I want this in my kitchen or in my laundry room. It is very utilitarian, but its simple lines and bright stainless steel look great.
Thus durable easy to assemble stainless steel shelf makes the kitchen organized. This two foot shelf is a game changer with storage of my bigger bins and plastic tubs. This really help to declutter the kitchen. Wipe down to clean easily.
I really like this shelf! It was super easy to assemble and install, the only thing that required any real work was trying to pull the protective plastic off. My stove doesn't have a range, and so I DO wish that I had gotten a larger one (and probably had mounted it a little lower🤭), but hey, I'm no handyman! I did the best I could, but I actually am overall, absolutely in love with how this turned out! It really opened up my kitchen and cleared up a ton of counter space. Even tho it's industrial, I'd still highly recommend this item even for the home😊👍🏾
When this first showed up, I was concerned that this was damaged, because I wasn't aware that the white film was a protective covering until I read the reviews. Once I did, I was still concerned but in another way, because I knew it was going to be a pain to peel off... and it definitely was. It took me almost 45 minutes to get all of the white film off of the shelf and the arms, but once I did, it looked pretty nice and could be suitable for the kitchen or pantry. I've actually placed it into the laundry room, because in a 100-year old house, shelving and storage are at a premium, so this is great right over the washer/dryer for the essentials and will hold up nicely in a basement space. It's in a cement block wall, so I didn't worry about any of the hardware holding... everything worked great.
I think the price, is a bit steep for the surface area. I don’t like how thin the protective film is. They bend it to form, with it intact. “Great idea protection wise” but, it makes it more difficult to take off. I’d say the side pieces were ten minutes of peeling per. I’ve peeled this from other stainless items. It’s nowhere near as difficult. They used a slightly thicker film though. That’s just something to look forward to when you get it. It’s packed well. Mine did have an indentation in the steel. And, in the picture you can see, the finish job isn’t great. The sides won’t be perfectly straight when assembled. So, you have to push them inwards or outwards before you put the screws in your wall. “Kinda a standard thing with thinner metal shelves” The anchors it comes with, I tried using. But, the first one I installed, snapped in the drywall while I was turning it in place. “It was over half way in” so I had to dig out what I could. And, have a decent size hole now where that was. Luckily, the top splash guard area of the shelf is covering that hole. I slid the shelf over more, to get away from that hole. And, scrapped the screws and anchors. I ended up using deck screws to hold the shelf up. NOTE: I don’t believe this was a fault in the anchors quality. They are perfectly suited for the job. “I have lath behind my drywall.” I didn’t know it, until all this happened. I do like how they have slide notches in the side panels. This allows you to adjust each side, to perfectly match up with the upper shelf. I’d say over all, it’s a great unit. I’ve got two different sizes of plates side by side, and two stacks of 3 bowls one stack in front of the other. All sitting on the shelf. You may not get a perfect looking shelf. But, it will be sturdy. I chose this one, over their other model with the hooks, because I thought the rounded front lip, was a cleaner look.
Terrible instructions. Once we got it up, we do love it.
