This runner looks somewhat elegant and well-made. It's not a thick runner or heavy interior carpet runner (which are much heavier and expensive). Rather, this is lightweight and looks more like a nicely-constructed indoor/outdoor carpet. This means that it would be great inside the home (in a hallway, kitchen, bathroom, sunroom or laundry room) as well as outside the home (on a deck, patio, porch, etc.). The design is good for just about any space.If you keep it inside on hardwoods, linoleum or tile, I would recommend a rug pad (to help it hug the flooring). It should be find as a layered carpet accent atop other carpet. If you're using it outside, you'll probably need a solution to keep it straight (perhaps carpet tape). It's actually quite nice to look at and would provide some nice elegant pop to your space.

I got this for my cousin, as her floors are cold. The colors are exactly what she wanted and she says they are just like the pic. It does have an anti-slip backing on it. I didn't see in the description, which is an added bonus.
