GARVEE Farmhouse 3 Tier Bookcase, Open Shelves, MDF Wood, Rustic Grey, 43.3" Low Bookcase, Home Office, Living Room

I purchased two of them to fit in my kid’s cozy room. Two of us assembled 4hours overall, that is 2 hours for one bookcase. Although a bit time consuming, it’s worth it as we can see in the photo. It’s maticulously designed and sturdy. They are not wood partickle board as we normally get in this price range. The only downside is that I cannot put tall binders for most of the shelves because the wood panel in the front (decoration) blocks the way.

All of the listed dimensions are correct, each shelf holds a good amount of weight, and the instructions were straight forward. The color of the bookcase leans more towards brown then the red shown for the cherry finish.However, even after adding in the back panels the bookcase still sways too much if you push on the sides. Even after re-tightening the screw joints, you can push and sway the bookcase to one side. The back panels are made from a plastic material rather than more mdf. For how much the support of the bookcase requires the backing to stay strong, I was hoping for a stronger material.The MDF boards are not fully wooden. Meaning that the bookcase is made from thin wood fiber, plastic, resin, and wax. The shelves and sides that use the mdf are sturdy and hold together well but clearly do not look like real wood.Overall this is a decent bookshelf for the price. The wood grain texture is nice, the shelves are strong, and it is fairly easy to put together. Just make sure it is in a place that won't get knock into.

Pros: -perfect for knick knacks or lighter/smaller books-color is unique and matched other furniture we had which was not easy to findCons:-takes a while to put together-if plan to put heavy books/items on this piece, think again-not as solid as Garvee pics make it look (bottom shelf can hold heavier items)

This bookcase looks great in my office. It’s sturdy and came well-packaged with no damage. Installation took about 2 hours but I was quite slow about it.My favorite part of the bookcase are the little metal accents that give it a bit more flair compared to other styles I was looking at that were in the same price range. I did spray paint the metal bits gold so it better matched with the rest of my room.

The bookcase was fairly easy to assemble. It’s very sturdy and looks like a much more expensive piece of furniture. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

I got 3 for my office and since I have cats went with the 3 shelf option. They are quite sturdy and fit perfectly with my decor. I was able to assemble without my husband's assistance which was fantastic.

I took a huge gamble on these, because I purchased when there was only one review. It was a great review so I took a chance, and I’m so glad I did! We ordered three and each was packaged beautifully and easy to put together. I did it all myself. Very good quality for the price. I spray painted the metal accents bronze to better suit my style and decor. I love this bookshelf so much!

This is particle laminate board, decent quality, arrived undamaged I dont think it looks cheesy at all,.most people would assume its real wood.

I was a nit nervous at first putting it together to be steady but this was easy to put together and it didn't take long. It's beautiful and really adds to the room. It's steady and hey. You can't be climbing on it but it wouldn't fall on a child if not secured to the wall. I actually might buy another as not all my nooks fit but I wanted counter space as well or I would've gone for taller one. Definitely recommend it, I get so many compliments!
