Gave a 4 star because the mattress slides. If they add something to the frame to stop it from sliding, it would be perfect. He has the mattress & box spring on it. Covers the headboard. If you lay just the mattress on it, it won't. It's actually very sturdy and cute. Would purchase again if needed.

Super comfortable! We put it together in probably 30 minutes. The wood paneling looks very nice & there’s so much storage underneath! Great price too.Also *love* the shelf headboard! If you make a lot of… back & forth movements, the stuff on the shelf might fall on your head. I recommend moving items before shaking the house.Shipping was fast, box was obviously large & heavy but manageable to get upstairs.
