Wow, I love this table. I put it in my kitchen as a center island to work on and prepare food. It was easy to put together. It’s made heavy, and sturdy. It’s easy to clean and looks great in my kitchen. The under part of the table I use a storage for all my appliances. Two thumbs up.
The table came well packaged in a nested box with thick cardboard and plenty of foam packing material. Everything was individually bagged to prevent scratching and wear during transport. The table top surface also had a sheet of plastic film attached for protection. My husband wrote up this review:Instructions were clear and easy to understand. Assembly was a breeze (mostly, see below) with the included set-screws and allen wrench. The only issue was related to the threaded holes that the set-screws fit in to, which hold the legs in rings on the shelf and sockets in the tabletop. It looks like there was not a lot of quality control in the thread cutting process for those holes. Each hole has sharp burrs around the edge (watch your fingers) and some of the burrs make it difficult to get the screw threads started. I was able to get all but one screw in easily after getting the thread started. The last one got cross-threaded after several attempts. The table design is very well thought out, with an adjustable center shelf and reinforced tabletop. Each leg has a plastic foot insert on the bottom, which can be screwed in and out to level the table. Speaking of leveling, when you install the shelf, due to the way it is attached to the legs, you may need to do a bit of leveling before you tighten the set-screws down all the way.Besides the quality control issue with the hole threads, there was really only one other issue. One of the shelf welds was pretty bad (see pic), which I’m guessing was probably just a fluke with my table and not the norm. The botched weld did not affect performance at all, so it’s not that big of a deal for me, but I thought it was probably worth mentioning. I will probably reinforce that weld at some point. In the short term we are using this table to house our laser engraver, and it works great for that purpose. The long term plan for this table is to use it for shipping & receiving. Due to its strength, I believe it will be perfect for this use.All in all, this is a great table, and I’m looking forward to getting many years of use out of it. I totally recommend.

I like the simplistic nature of this table. It's a nice solid, stainless steel table that can be used for just about anything. It was very easy to put together, however, I was very annoyed by the protective sheeting they used over most of the top and sides. It took me over 30 minutes and may curse words to get it all peeled off. I understand the desire to protect the top, but I think I smudged and scratched it more trying to get that film off.Peeling aside, it is a very nice table. It has plastic leveling feet to adjust for uneven floors.
This table was a life saver for me.... I got this with the intention of using it as a repotting table for outside when I repot my plants. But before I could even put it outside I had to go pick up a granite slab for my kitchen island. I had someone helping me but have been having problems with my hand and I was afraid I was going to drop it. I didn't know what to do. I needed to get it from the truck to the kitchen. So I thought, the rolling table..... I ran inside, grabbed it and put it under the slab of granite, pushed it up on there then rolled it to the kitchen..... yes, it's that sturdy.... I put a 30x52 inch slab of granite on it and rolled it, with no problems to the kitchen. I was so glad I had the table. I have it on my back porch to use for whatever need may arise. It's beside the grill and can be used as extra prep space. It was also very easy to assemble.
Nice sturdy worktable. A bit on the smallish side. Instructions were crap but assembly was straightforward. It took two people less than 30 mins. The only reason it took so long was because not all of the screw holes were drilled? properly. Two of the tightening screws could not be installed because the holes were not open all the way round. Will be using it as a hot chocolate bar so It won't be carrying too much weight. It comes with a white protective film on top that I think you're supposed to remove but I like it like that so I'll keep it on for now.
This table is everything it’s advertised to be except that it’s not all stainless steel. The important part, the table top, is but the legs and lower shelf seem to be galvanized. I like that there are two stainless steel set screws at each connection. It make the table very solid. It was packaged very well and was received with no damage or scratches. One of the set screw holes had some extra metal which did not allow the screw to thread. I just bent it out of the way with some wire cutters and it worked fine. Assembly is straight forward. It took me more time to peel off the protective cover than to actually assemble. This is an excellent little table for the price!
Assembly is extremely straightforward, even if the instructions are a bit confusing. You shove the legs in the leg holes, screw the set screws in the set screw holes and then screw the casters in the caster holes. Done. See a threaded hole? A set screw goes in there unless it's on the bottom of the legs. Casters go there. The problem this has is no one bothered to take 30 seconds to clean up the holes for the set screws. This leaves sharp chunks hanging out and blocking the screws. So, you can cut yourself and good luck getting some of those screws in there. Some went in easy, a couple required a file and a bit of hammering. Annoying.Once it is together, it is reasonably sturdy. The lower shelf is sort of adjustable. You just need to loosen 8 set screws. Fun.Overall, some QC would go a long way with this. It's a good table once it is together though.
You had me at hello! This RIEDHOFF Stainless Steel Work Table 30" x 24" with Undershelf arrived in it's own packaging, very stout cardboard, with copper staples and shipping straps that were also taped in place. I opened the box to find the interior of the box just as carefully thought out. All components were well-protected. There was even a protective vinyl (?) cover on the top. There was not one dent or scratch to the components.Assembly was very straight forward and simple. My advice: don't allow the protective vinyl to get scratched, as it makes it's removal less than easy...ask me how I know! The first "screw" would not thread, so I'll need to run a tap in the hole to rectify that. Otherwise this table is a delight! The stainless steel is as thick as one would expect, without adding too much weight.I'm loving having this NSF-certified stainless steel table in my kitchen. It's great for food prep, and having ingredients lined up for cooking. It's also large enough to place a full-sheet pan straight from the oven, a frequent problem faced in my kitchen when the stove top is occupied.I HIGHLY recommend this RIEDHOFF Stainless Steel Work Table 30" x 24" with Undershelf!!
