We’ve never owned a metal detector before but we are slowly getting the hang of it. It’s really nice because you can set the sensitivity and depth you are looking for. Also, I like that there is a carrying case for everything considering there is an included shovel and headphones. With a little more finesse we will figure it out. One other feature we like is that it gives you a baseline for what may be quarter, penny, etc.

Awesome product! Easy to put together. The bag, shovel, headphones and detector itself are made well and should last. It is lightweight and is able to be used for tall or shorter individuals. We recently had our roof redone and this came in handy to pick up nails in the yard. My grandson had a blast helping as well so great gift for kids too. This is a great value and I would recommend this product. I hope this was helpful for you!

This doesn't feel like the sturdiest metal detector in the world, and there isn't a lot of room for adjustment of the arm (so sorry if you're super tall!). But it does, in fact, function exactly as expected! I used it in the woods behind my house and found a bunch of random metal bits and bobs including a 1950s license plate.It's fun but certainly a beginner / entry product that you will want to upgrade if you become interested in the hobby.

This was my first time ever using a metal detector. The idea of finding things of value is a good idea to me but I do not think this is my forte. I am not saying this product is not good or anything. I just do not think it is for me. It does detect. I mostly found nails in my yard. I would probably enjoy it more using it in the sand where I could easily dig.

I like that this is so simple to use and works so well. Very easy to follow directions and very simple to put together. I used this at a local park and was not disappointed. This metal detector paid for itself in one afternoon as well as it found a ring that had been lost months earlier and I was able to reunite it with its owner. It worked amazingly well for finding both coins and gold.

Of the two metal detectors I have tried within the same price point, this is definitely the more effective one. I go camping a lot in dispersed areas during the summer and thought this might be a fun addition for exploring the area with thinking best case, I find something neat and worse case, I find used gun shells & various trash/litter items that I can pick up (I try to fill at least half a trash bag of litter from any campsite/surrounding area that I visit because…. Planet earth!)The instructions are fairly straight forward and putting this together was simple. It sits well on my arm and I actually love the little shovel/pick tool it came with! It also comes with a simple set of over the ear headphones as well which is great so I’m not disturbing anyone around me. II tested it out with a few coins on the floor for which it did pick up pretty immediately. I then took it outside and walked around and it seemed to have picked up a few things, but indicated there were far enough down I would need to dig a bit.Battery life seems to be pretty decent, though I’ll bring a spare power source when out and about. The carry bag is nice too, but I wish the detector would fit when fully extended/put together - it needs to be broken down/shortened to fit.Overall a fun tool and I can’t wait to bring it along next week on a trip we have planned.

Absolutely love this metal detector, can’t wait too get out. Fun family time looking for treasures together. It is easy to use and lightweight. Great value for money!
